The Scorpions' debut album — and one of the most sought-after entries in their catalogue. Originally released in 1972 on Brain, Lonesome Crow captures a raw, proto-metal Scorpions before global stardom, featuring a teenage Michael Schenker on lead guitar alongside his brother Rudolf, Klaus Meine on vocals, and the legendary Conny Plank behind the boards. The centrepiece is the 13-and-a-half-minute title track, a sprawling psychedelic hard rock epic that remains one of the band's most ambitious recordings. This is the West German reissue on the black Brain label, distributed by Metronome Musik GmbH, Hamburg — lacquer cut by G. F. Pfanz.
