Echo Sound & Culture is a family-led creative studio and shop based in Winnipeg, Canada, created by Crystal and Paul—and increasingly shaped by Katy, our youngest artist and curator (currently 11 years old).

It began with vinyl: the thrill of finding a long-searched-for record, hearing an overlooked album for the first time or discovering cover art that was impossible to leave behind. From there, Echo grew naturally into vintage objects, wearable finds, original artwork and other pieces with character, history and a story still to tell.

We travel whenever we can, and our collections reflect what catches our attention along the way. Some pieces are collectible, some are nostalgic and some are simply too interesting not to share.

Our individual tastes are part of Echo’s personality. The Echo Edit brings together personal favourites, beginning with Paul’s love of progressive rock. Katy’s Edit pairs her original artwork with the vinyl and discoveries she chooses for herself. Crystal is continually drawn to the objects, design and stories that connect everything together.
