A first pressing of Hendrix's masterpiece — identified by the Warner Bros.-Seven Arts / Reprise disc logo and the distinctive orange/yellow two-tone labels (later issues use a tan label with square red Reprise logo). Produced and directed by Jimi Hendrix himself, recorded at The Record Plant, New York, and engineered by Eddie Kramer and Gary Kellgren. Liner notes by Jimi Hendrix; back cover photography by Karl Ferris; black-and-white photos by Linda Eastman (later Linda McCartney). Auto-coupled pressing: Record 1 contains Sides A and D; Record 2 contains Sides B and C. Note: spine reads Electric Lady Land (two words). One of the greatest double LPs in rock history — Voodoo Chile, Voodoo Child (Slight Return), All Along The Watchtower, Crosstown Traffic, Burning Of The Midnight Lamp, Gypsy Eyes, and the sprawling 1983... (A Merman I Should Turn To Be).
