The third studio album from Toronto’s Rough Trade — one of the most provocative and important Canadian new wave acts of the era, centred on the commanding vocals and explicit songwriting of Carole Pope. Co-written, produced, and performed with guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Kevan Staples (guitar, piano, synthesizer, percussion, vocals). Co-produced by Gene Martynec. Recorded at Manta Sound, Toronto; mastered by George Marino at Sterling Sound, New York. Art direction by General Idea (the influential Toronto art collective), Bart Schoales, and Kevan Staples. Canadian True North Records release; manufactured and distributed by CBS Records Canada Ltd. Track A2 (Endless Night) is from the film Track Two. Includes printed lyrics/credits inner sleeve. Ten tracks sequentially numbered 1–10 across both sides. VG+/VG+.
