A cult early-'70s hard rock rarity — the promotional copy of Dust's self-titled debut on the pink Kama Sutra promo label. Dust were a New York trio: guitarist/vocalist Richie Wise, bassist/multi-instrumentalist Kenny Aaronson, and drummer Marc Bell — who would later become Marky Ramone of the Ramones. The album blends heavy blues rock with proto-metal riffing, and the 9:49 From A Dry Camel on Side B is a genuine extended heavy rock statement. Produced by Dominic Sicilia, Kenny Kerner, and the band; lacquer cut by Bob Ludwig at Sterling Sound; pressed by Sonic Recording Products. 1st print promo copy vinyl is excellent only a couple minor scratches, textured cover. Dust (1971) is the second album from hard rock band Dust, featuring early work from drummer Marky Ramone. Blends heavy blues rock with proto-metal elements and strong guitar riffs. A cult early-70s hard rock release.
