Hot Together (1986) continued the Pointer Sisters’ mid-80s commercial run on RCA, produced by Richard Perry — the Los Angeles pop producer behind landmark albums by Ringo Starr (Ringo), Carly Simon (No Secrets), Barbra Streisand (Stoney End), and Harry Nilsson (Nilsson Schmilsson). The ten-track set includes Goldmine, All I Know Is The Way I Feel, and the title track. Two guest credits worth noting: Sandra Bernhard — actress, comedian, and performer — provides backing vocals on My Life, which she co-wrote with Anita Pointer (the song later appeared remixed on the Pointers’ follow-up, Serious Slammin’); and Robbie Nevil (who charted with C’est La Vie the same year) plays guitar on the title track. Canadian RCA Inc. pressing. Released with printed inner lyrics sleeve. Cover has a cut/cutout mark; minor shelf/edge wear to sleeve; vinyl shows light signs of careful play. VG+/VG+.
