Sad Café are a British rock band from Manchester whose commercial peak came with this album, Facades (1979). Every Day Hurts (A3) reached #3 on the UK Singles Chart in 1979 and is their signature song; Nothing Left To Lose (A2) also charted. The band’s melodic rock and AOR sound, fronted by vocalist Paul Young, made them a significant presence in the British rock landscape of the late 1970s and early 1980s.
