Original Canadian Elephant Records pressing — the debut album from Sharon, Lois & Bram (Sharon Hampson, Lois Lilienstein, Bram Morrison), recorded and mixed at Kensington Sound, Toronto, during May and June 1978; mastered at JAMF, Toronto; lacquer cut at The Lacquer Channel. Produced by Bill Usher. Musicians include Eric Nagler (fiddle, banjo, mandolin, lap psaltery, Jew’s harp), Pat Godfrey (Fender Rhodes), Don Englert (clarinet, soprano/alto/baritone saxophone), Joe Hampson (string bass, electric bass), Dave Harvey (tuba), and Hugh Middleton (trumpet, engineer). Children’s choir drawn from Toronto community schools. Thirty-two tracks across two sides spanning nursery rhymes, folk songs, playground chants, and original material — entirely traditional repertoire arranged by Sharon, Lois, Bram, and Bill Usher. Includes a 12-page illustrated booklet with words, music, games, and actions. VG+/VG+ throughout.
