An exceptional late-1960s rock and pop anthology assembled for Ernest Thompson’s 1988 film starring Robert Downey Jr. and Kiefer Sutherland — and one of the strongest single-LP soundtrack compilations of the era by artist roster alone. Eleven tracks: Jimi Hendrix (All Along The Watchtower), Cream (White Room), The Animals (When I Was Young), Creedence Clearwater Revival (Green River), Canned Heat (Goin’ Up The Country), The Zombies (Time Of The Season), Jesse Colin Young (Get Together), Blind Faith (Can’t Find My Way Home), The Moody Blues (Tuesday Afternoon), Crosby, Stills & Nash (Wooden Ships), and The Pretenders (Windows Of The World — the Burt Bacharach/Hal David cover). Compiled and mastered by John Boylan; mastering engineers Bob Ludwig and Wally Traugott — Ludwig being among the most significant mastering engineers in recorded music, whose credits span Led Zeppelin, Bruce Springsteen, and Madonna. Canadian Polydor pressing. Perfect copy — vinyl and sleeve both present in mint condition throughout.
