The first CSNY studio album since Déjà Vu (1970) — eighteen years between records. American Dream reunited all four members for a full LP, yielding the hit single Got It Made and the title track. Produced by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and Niko Bolas (a long-time Neil Young studio collaborator); recorded, mixed, and digitally edited by Tim Mulligan (another Neil Young mainstay). Mastered by Bob Ludwig at Masterdisk using DMM (Direct Metal Mastering) technology — a pressing detail audiophiles note for its impact on high-frequency clarity and surface noise. Art direction and design by Gary Burden, the designer behind the visual identity of countless Crosby, Nash, and Young releases. Photography by Henry Diltz (back cover) and Aaron Rapoport (front cover). Canadian Atlantic pressing. Released with printed inner sleeve containing full lyrics, photos, and credits. NM vinyl and sleeve — a strong copy.
