Mike Garson's extraordinary avant-garde piano is the defining sonic signature of the album — most audible on the title track. The band is the Spiders from Mars at their tightest: Mick Ronson on guitar, Trevor Bolder on bass, Mick Woodmansey on drums. The Jean Genie, Drive-In Saturday, Panic In Detroit, Cracked Actor, Time, and Lady Grinning Soul are all here. Cover design by Brian Duffy and Celia Philo; make-up by Pierre Laroche (the lightning bolt).
