Canadian WEA pressing of Fleetwood Mac’s ambitious, expansive double LP follow-up to Rumours — one of the most expensive rock albums ever made at the time of release (reportedly $1 million USD), and a deliberate left turn away from the polished pop-rock of its predecessor. Produced by Fleetwood Mac, Ken Caillat, and Richard Dashut; recorded at The Village Recorder and at Dodger Stadium (for the title track, Tusk — D4 — which featured the 112-piece USC Trojan Marching Band, recorded on the field at Dodger Stadium); lacquer cut and mastered by Ken Perry at Capitol Mastering. Twenty tracks across four sides spanning Lindsey Buckingham’s angular, new-wave-influenced songwriting (The Ledge, Not That Funny, What Makes You Think You’re The One), Stevie Nicks’ sweeping compositions (Sara — A5, 6:26; Sisters Of The Moon; Storms), and Christine McVie’s melodic contributions (Think About Me, Over & Over, Brown Eyes). Manufactured and distributed by WEA Music of Canada Ltd., Scarborough, Ontario. Issued with four cardboard inner sleeves (two full-size, two slightly smaller); front cover partially embossed. This copy is the spine variant with stylized “SPC” marking before “Litho In Canada.” Vinyl VG+ with a couple of small scratches; cover VG+ with a small tear in the upper corner; all four inner sleeves visually Mint.
