Five live tracks across two concerts — three from the Atlanta International Pop Festival (1970), two from Berkeley Community Theatre (1970, the Jimi Plays Berkeley concert). Originally released as a video soundtrack tie-in for the Sony/Douglas Video Johnny B. Goode and the Harmony Vision Jimi Plays Berkeley releases. The set closes with Machine Gun (11:00) from Berkeley — one of the most ferocious and extended live performances Hendrix ever committed to tape, recorded just months before his death. Digitally edited and mastered by Joe Gastwirt; mixed by Mark Linett; produced by Alan Douglas and Chip Branton. Lineup: Jimi Hendrix (guitar, vocals), Billy Cox (bass), Mitch Mitchell (drums). Manufactured and distributed by Capitol Records–EMI of Canada Limited. A display-worthy sealed Hendrix collectible.
