A factory sealed audiophile pressing of one of the finest Hendrix compilations — Kiss The Sky was digitally remastered from the original vault tapes and pressed on premium 150-gram vinyl, mastered by Joe Gastwirt at the JVC Cutting Center and pressed by Specialty Records Corporation. The tracklist is exceptional: Are You Experienced?, Voodoo Child (Slight Return), Castles Made Of Sand, Purple Haze, Red House (unedited version), Third Stone From The Sun, All Along The Watchtower, and the previously unreleased live Killing Floor from the Monterey Pop Festival, June 18, 1967. Produced for compilation by Alan Douglas, Chip Branton, and Kevin Laffey; original productions by Chas Chandler, Jimi Hendrix, and Alan Douglas. Includes original obi strip with audiophile hype text and Hendrix t-shirt return coupon on reverse. Single jacket with black plastic inner sleeve.
