A sought-after Hendrix bootleg documenting the Maui, Hawaii concert of July 30, 1970 — the same performance filmed for the Rainbow Bridge movie, held at Olinda, Maui at the base of Haleakala crater. This pressing uses the original mono mixed recordings as heard in the film. Nine tracks including Hey Baby (New Rising Sun) / In From The Storm, Hear My Train A Comin', Voodoo Chile, Red House (6:45), Foxy Lady, Ezy Rider, Purple Haze, and the atmospheric Maui Sunset, opening with a brief Hendrix interview. Billy Cox on bass, Mitch Mitchell on drums. Lacquer cut at Kendun Recorders; pressed by Monarch Record Mfg. Co. Original '70s issue came with a numbered generic white inner sleeve.
