A sought-after Hendrix unofficial collecting rare studio and live material from across his career — PPX-era recordings with Curtis Knight, early Electric Lady sessions, a 1967 Dutch radio appearance, and the complete Maui concert footage from July 30, 1970. Side A opens with Cat Fish Blues from Bussem Radio, Rotterdam (November 10, 1967), followed by the title track You Can't Use My Name (PPX Studios, July 1967), Gloomy Monday Takes 1 & 2 with Curtis Knight, an early 1968 Electric Lady version of 1983, and an untitled instrumental that is an early version of Little Miss Strange. Side B is the Maui, Hawaii concert (July 30, 1970): Dolly Dagger, Freedom, Stone Free / Hey Joe, and the complete Maui Sunset. Gatefold black-and-white cover; single-piece folded cardboard construction (no glue or adhesives, no spine text). White labels with black writing read "Special Promotions – Promotional Use Only" only — Hendrix's name does not appear anywhere on the release.
