Factory sealed. Karen Brooks’ third album for Warner Bros., recorded in Nashville with a production team whose credentials span two of American roots music’s most significant studios. Produced by Barry Beckett — a founding member of the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, the rhythm section behind Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, and the Rolling Stones’ Wild Horses sessions, and later a Nashville producer who worked with Bob Dylan on Slow Train Coming and Saved and with Dire Straits. Recorded and mixed by Scott Hendricks — who would go on to produce major Nashville acts and serve as President of Capitol Nashville. Recorded at The Music Mill, Nashville; mixed at The Bennett House. Mastered at Masterfonics by Glenn Meadows, one of Nashville’s most respected and longest-tenured mastering engineers. Art direction and design by Gabrielle Raumberger; photography by Sharon Bays. Canadian Quality Records Limited pressing (“Qu” in etched runout), manufactured and distributed by WEA Music Of Canada Ltd. (bilingual English/French attribution); printed by Ever Reddy (ER logo on spine, Printed In Canada). Printed inner lyric sleeve included (sealed inside).
