Side A is the Jimi Hendrix Experience: Like A Rolling Stone, Rock Me Baby, Can You See Me, and the incendiary Wild Thing (7:30) — the performance that introduced Hendrix to America, ending with the burning of his guitar. Side B is Otis Redding backed by Booker T. & the M.G.'s: Shake, Respect, I've Been Loving You Too Long, Satisfaction, and Try A Little Tenderness — one of the greatest soul performances ever captured on record. Produced by John Phillips and Lou Adler; photography by Jim Marshall; lacquer cut at Artisan Sound Recorders; Columbia Records Pitman pressing (denoted by "P" stamp in runouts).
