Mastered at The Mastering Lab, Hollywood by Doug Sax — one of the most highly regarded mastering engineers in the world, whose audiophile-respected credits include Led Zeppelin, the Eagles, Cat Stevens, and James Taylor. Mixed by Greg Ladanyi — the Los Angeles producer and mixer behind Don Henley’s Building The Perfect Beast, Jackson Browne’s Running On Empty and The Pretender, and Warren Zevon. Engineered by Mike Fraser — the Canadian rock engineer who went on to engineer AC/DC’s The Razors Edge and multiple major hard rock records; his early credit here is an interesting data point for Fraser collectors. Paul Janz is a Canadian singer-songwriter and producer from Winnipeg, Manitoba — a local connection for Echo Sound & Culture customers — who had moderate Canadian chart success through the mid-to-late 1980s on A&M Records of Canada. Self-produced, with a band comprising Bob Press (bass), Michael Root (drums), and Tim McKenzie (guitar). Design by Melanie Nissen — the photographer and designer known for her work with The Police.
