McCartney’s critical and commercial comeback after a difficult mid-1980s run — Flowers In The Dirt (1989) reached #1 in the UK and spawned a major world tour. Their co-writes include My Brave Face (the lead single), You Want Her Too, That Day Is Done, and Don’t Be Careless Love — tracks that gave McCartney some of the strongest critical notices of his post-Beatles solo career.
