An orchestral vocal treatment of selections from Baker Street — the 1965 Broadway musical based on the Sherlock Holmes stories, featuring book, music, and lyrics by Marian Grudeff and Raymond Jessel, with additional material by Burt Bacharach, Jerome Coopersmith, and others. The show opened at the Broadway Theatre in February 1965 and ran for 313 performances, starring Fritz Weaver as Holmes and Inga Swenson. Mastered at Bell Sound Studios, New York — one of the most significant independent recording and mastering facilities in New York through the 1950s–1970s, whose credits span jazz, pop, and Broadway cast recordings of the era; mastering dates in the runout indicate sessions from late 1964 and early 1965. Released on Wyncote — a budget-oriented label distributed under the Cameo-Parkway Records umbrella, known for orchestral, easy listening, and Broadway tie-in releases throughout the mid-1960s. Mono pressing. Four tracks: Married Man (A1), I’d Do It Again (A2), What A Night This Is Going To Be (B1), Jewelry (B2). Vinyl near mint; cover VG+.
