Original 1961 Disneyland Records story album tie-in to Disney’s live-action comedy The Absent Minded Professor (1961), starring Fred MacMurray as Professor Ned Brainard and featuring the fictional invention “Flubber” (Flying Rubber). Narrated by Sterling Holloway across two long-form story sides (Part I: 12:21 / Part II: 12:50) — Holloway was one of Disney’s most beloved voice talents, the original voice of Winnie the Pooh (Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree, 1966), Kaa in The Jungle Book (1967), the Cheshire Cat in Alice In Wonderland (1951), and Roquefort in The Aristocats (1970); his distinctive high tenor voice is one of the most immediately recognizable in Disney animation history. Fred MacMurray performs Flubber (B2, 2:05) — the novelty song from the film.
