US promotional pressing — NM/NM. Take That are the Manchester pop group formed in 1990: Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams, Howard Donald, Jason Orange, and Mark Owen. It Only Takes A Minute is their cover of the 1975 Tavares hit, written by Dennis Lambert and Brian Potter — the songwriting team also responsible for the Commodores’ Nightshift. Take That’s version reached #7 on the UK Singles Chart in 1992 and was a key track in their early commercial breakthrough in Britain. This is the 1993 US promotional pressing on RCA — Take That had substantial UK success but a limited US footprint, and domestic US promo copies of their releases are scarce as a result of the restricted campaign. Five mixes across two sides, making this a complete DJ-utility package: Club Version, Dub Version, and Radio Version on the A-side; Tommy Musto’s Underground Vocal and Underground Instrumental remixes on the B-side — Musto being a prominent New York house and dance remixer whose presence places this in the NYC underground dance world of 1993. Produced by Nigel Wright, the British pop and musical theatre producer who worked extensively with Take That in their early years. Engineered by Robin Sellars. A collectible US promo for Take That and Robbie Williams collectors — this predates Williams’ solo departure from the group in 1995.
