The James Last Band – ’67 Non Stop Dancing

Original German Polydor/Stern Musik pressing of James Last’s 1967 instalment of his celebrated Non Stop Dancing series — one of the most commercially successful and enduring party/dance album concepts in European popular music. Pressed by Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft; manufactured and made by Deutsche Grammophon Hamburg; sleeve printed by Gerhard Kaiser GmbH. The Non Stop Dancing series — launched in 1965 and running into the 1980s — presented continuous medleys of current pop and Schlager hits arranged in the signature James Last style: lush orchestrations, driving rhythm sections, and seamless transitions between tracks. This 1967 edition features ten potpourri medleys drawing from the contemporary German and international hit parade (Eine Non-Stop-Revue der aktuellen Hitparade; 28 Hits für Ihre Party im beliebten James-Last-Sound). GEMA rights society. Laminated cover; “Made in Germany” on label rim and rear cover. NM vinyl; sleeve VG+ and nearly perfect.
